In 1991, we were one of the first to incorporate contemporary art and design in a hotel.
We have the work of young emerging artists in our guestrooms and that of well-known artists in our lobby. We did not want just pictures hanging on the walls but also works that interacted with the environment.
Every year, we add a new painting or sculpture to our collection with particular attention to young and upcoming artists in the Milanese art world.
We have worked with: Urbano Pierini, who designed our entire project; Ugo La Pietra, who did all our furnishings; Giò Pomodoro, who did the fireplace wall; Giuseppe Mestrangelo, who did the lobby lighting.
