Roadworks on Via Spadari | May–September 2026
We would like to share, with complete transparency, what will be happening outside our hotel.
The Municipality of Milan has started pavement renovation works on Via Spadari, the street where Hotel Spadari al Duomo is located. The works will take place in successive phases from May 15 until approximately mid-September 2026. Not all sections of the street will be affected at the same time.
The noisiest work is expected to take place approximately during the hours of 8am – 6pm. Outside these hours, the area will maintain its usual tranquillity.
Rooms and rates during the roadworks
Rates vary depending on the location of the room and the intensity of the works.
Rooms facing Via Spadari
Rooms overlooking the street are more exposed to noise during construction hours.
During the phases in which the works are more intensive, these rooms are offered at reduced rates.
This includes, for example, Classic Rooms and Deluxe Rooms.
Street-facing rooms located on the 6th and 7th floors of the hotel are generally less affected:
Special Classic and Deluxe with View.
Inner-side rooms
Rooms overlooking the inner courtyard are more sheltered from street noise.
For these room types, the expected noise impact is more limited, and rates reflect this difference.
This includes Superior Special, Superior with Terrace, Special Deluxe with Terrace, and the Split-level Suite.
Our services
Breakfast, bar service, the 24-hour reception and all hotel services remain available as usual throughout the works.
Frequently asked questions
Are the inner-side rooms quiet?
Rooms overlooking the inner courtyard, on the side opposite the street, should not be significantly affected by the works.
Are special rates available for street-side rooms?
Yes. Rooms more exposed to construction noise are available at reduced rates. The higher discount applies to the rooms subject to the greater possible inconvenience.
